Eduardo Ticona

Eduardo Ticona is the National Coordinator of the Tuberculosis Control Program for the Ministry of Health in Peru. He is also a specialist and assistant doctor in Tropical and Infectious Diseases at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo as well as an associated teacher and member from the Graduate School's Counsel at the Graduate School of Medicine at San Martín de Porres University in Lima. In the past, Dr. Ticona has served as a consultant for the National Program of Sexual Transmission Diseases Control and AIDS and the "AIDS HELP" program of USAID-PERU. Dr. Ticoma received his medical training at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and followed a specialty course in Tropical Medicine at the Institute of Tropical Medicine of Sao Paulo University.
