Mark Stirling
Mark Stirling is the Chief of the HIV/AIDS Section in the Programme Division at UNICEF and is responsible for guiding and coordinating UNICEF headquarters' support for an expanded response to HIV/AIDS. Prior to joining the Programme Division in New York, Mr. Stirling served as UNICEF Representative in Mozambique (1997-2000), Zambia (1993-1997) and Somalia (1992-1993); and before that as Senior Programme Officer in Angola (1988-1992), Assistant Representative in Swaziland (1984-1988) and health project officer in Uganda (1981-1984). Mr. Stirling studied at the Monash University in Victoria, Australia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree. |
