Alfredo Stein

Alfredo Stein is the Programme Officer for the Development Co-operation Section of the Swedish Embassy, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In this role, Mr. Stein is responsible for the supervision of municipal and urban housing projects in Honduras. He has worked for the past eighteen years with different international development agencies in low-income housing and local development programmes in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile and South Africa. Mr. Stein received a Masters in Urban Development Planning from the University of London.

As of Jan 1, 2007, the advisory work formerly carried out by the Millennium Project secretariat team is being continued by an MDG Support team integrated under the United Nations Development Program.
