Robert Snow

Dr. Snow is Professor of Tropical Public Health at the University of Oxford. He has lived and worked in Africa since 1984 addressing the epidemiology, control and public health consequences of Plasmodium falciparum malaria. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed journal articles and was awarded the Chalmer's Medal for Tropical Medicine by the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 1999. For the last 5 years he has been responsible for building a group of scientists interested in the public health policy of malaria and measuring the impact of malaria control investment as part of the KEMRI/Welcome Trust collaborative program in Nairobi, Kenya.
