Angela Juaka Sawyerr-Kamara

Angela Juaka Sawyerr-Kamara is the Founder and Director of the Regional Prevention of Maternal Mortality Network: a network of multi-disciplinary national teams of professionals in twenty African countries. Prior to this she has served as a consultant to the World Bank, WHO, and UNDP for programs relating to maternal mortality. Ms. Kamara has also worked in Sierra Leone for six years as a nurse administrator, and in Liberia at JFK Teaching Hospital for nine years as a supervisor and educator of nurses and midwives.
