Ravi Prabhu

Ravi Prabhu is currently working at the Center for International Forestry Research, based at its regional office for Eastern and Southern Africa in Harare. He currently leads research on Adaptive Collaborative Management of forests. His main research interest is in developing facilitative approaches and tools that can foment the emergence or strengthening of adaptive and collaborative management systems at all levels of social hierarchy - from local user groups to policy planners. He has carried out research on forests on all six continents. Dr. Prabhu has professional degrees in chemistry and forestry from the Universities of Delhi and Göttingen respectively, and a PhD in forestry from Göttingen University.
