Paranji Ramaiyengar Narayanan

PR Narayanan is Director of the Tuberculosis Research Centre (TRC), Chennai, India, an internationally recognized centre of excellence in tuberculosis research. During his six years of Directorship, the TRC has emerged as the flagship of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Dr. Narayanan is also member of the Stop TB Coordinating Board, WHO TDR Diagnostic Initiative, and WHO STAG. He is also a member of the Governing Board, Executive Committee of Indian Council of Medical Research and scientific advisory committees of several of ICMR institutions. Narayanan obtained his doctoral degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
