Katherine Namuddu

Katherine Namuddu is the Associate Director of the Africa Regional Program at the Rockefeller Foundation of New York where she is currently developing the Rockefeller Foundation's program on a quality primary education to promote social transformation in Africa. Prior to this, Dr. Namuddu set up and managed the Rockefeller Foundation's program on accelerating female participation in education in Africa. Before joining the Foundation, she set up the Minds Across Africa school project in Uganda, which is still on-going, in an effort to encourage school children and teachers to write for publication. Dr. Namuddu holds a doctorate in science education from Columbia University.
