Dr. Paula Munderi

Dr. Paula Munderi is a Clinical Research Fellow for the Imperial College of London/Medical Research Council (MRC) Programme on AIDS in Uganda. The MRC Programme is housed at Uganda Virus Research Center, where Dr. Munderi is responsible for managing the DART (Developing Anti Retroviral Treatment in Africa) clinical trial project site in Entebbe, Uganda. Prior to this, she was the Medical Officer for Access to HIV/AIDS Drugs at WHO, Geneva. She was educated at Makerere University Medical School in Kampala and the Nairobi Hospital in Kenya. She is the author of published documents on antiretroviral safety and efficacy and antiretroviral use in resource-poor settings.
