Nora Claudia Lustig

Nora Claudia Lustig is presently the President of the Universidad de las Américas-Puebla, Mexico. Previously, Dr. Lustig has served as Senior Advisor and Chief of the Poverty and Inequality Unit, Department of Social Programs and Sustainable Development at the Inter-American Development Bank. She was also the Director of the 2000/2001 World Development Report. Dr. Lustig specializes in measurement and analysis of poverty and income distribution, and economic integration issues. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
