Justin Yifu Lin

Justin Yifu Lin is Professor and Founding Director of the China Centre for Economic Research (CCER) at Peking University and Professor of Economics at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is an advisor to the State Leading Group of IT Development and a senior advisor to the Drafting Committee of China's Tenth Five-year Plan. He also serves on several international committees and councils on development policy, technology, and environment. Dr. Lin was awarded the 1993 and 2001 Sun Yefang Prize (the highest honour for an economist in China). He received his PhD in economics from the University of Chicago.
