Beryl Leach

Beryl Leach is the Coordinator for Health Action International, Africa and was the founding coordinator of the HAI Africa regional network, which was established in 1998 to work towards increasing access to essential medicines and improving the rational use of medicines in the region. She is a member of the steering group of the Kenya Coalition on Access to Essential Medicines and the organising committee for the Uganda access to essential medicines campaign, which is currently focusing on influencing intellectual property legislation. Previous to her work with HAI, she was the head of the department for social development and communications at Carl Bro Management, an international consulting firm based in Denmark.
