Richard Laing

Richard Laing is an Associate Professor at the Center for International Health at Boston University, where he teaches courses on Health Systems Research, Maternal and Child Health, and Promoting Rational Drug Use. He is also the director of the 12-week, International Health certificate program and the two-week National Drug Policies course. Originally trained as a doctor in Zimbabwe, Dr. Laing worked for 18 years at all levels in the Ministry of Health. He regularly consults in Africa, Asia, and the Balkans and serves on the WHO Expert Committee on National Drug Policies.
