Michael Kremer

Michael Kremer is Professor of Economics at Harvard University and Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Prior to this, Dr. Kremer founded and directed WorldTeach. He is a recipient of the MacArthur "genius" fellowship and a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. Dr. Kremer's recent research includes work on the evaluation of health and educational programs in developing countries; incentives for research and development on malaria, tuberculosis, HIV, and other diseases affecting developing countries; and sovereign debt. He received both his A.B. and PhD from Harvard University.
