Philip Hopewell

Philip Hopewell is Associate Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Prior to assuming his current position, Dr Hopewell was Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital. His specific research interests have been mainly in the area of molecular epidemiology of tuberculosis. Dr. Hopewell has worked extensively with tuberculosis projects in Eastern Nigeria, and Peru. He is also involved in the Stop TB Partnership and is a member of the DOTS Expansion Working Group.
