Eddie Greene

Eddie Greene is currently the Assistant Secretary-General, Directorate of Human and Social Development at the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat with responsibility for coordinating programmes in education, health, HIIV/AIDS, labour, culture, youth, sport, gender affairs and crime and security. From 1994-2000 he served as Adviser, Health and Human Development to the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO). He has also served as a Consultant with most of the leading international agencies, including the Commonwealth Secretariat, IDB, World Bank, UNDP and UNESCO. He is an avid follower of sports and a pan enthusiast. Dr. Greene received a Doctorate in International Economic Relations from the University of British Columbia.
