Helene Gayle

Helene Gayle is the Director of the HIV/AIDS & TB Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr. Gayle is a graduate of Barnard College of Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, and John's Hopkins University. Previously, she was director of the National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She has also worked for USAID and been a consultant to WHO, UNAIDS, UNICEF and the World Bank.
