Flavia Bustreo

Flavia Bustreo is currently the Senior Public Health Specialist at World Bank Headquarters where she manages the WHO-World Bank partnership concerning child health, which includes policy formulation, resource allocation at the country level, and the production of joint publications. She has received several awards from the World Bank. Dr. Bustreo received a MD from the University of Padova, Italy and a Masters of Science in Communicable Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

As of Jan 1, 2007, the advisory work formerly carried out by the Millennium Project secretariat team is being continued by an MDG Support team integrated under the United Nations Development Program.
