Richard H. Beahrs

Richard H. Beahrs is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Court TV. He also currently serves as a Trustee of the International Centre for Research in Agroforestry. Prior to that, Mr. Beahrs served as the President of the Comedy Channel and worked at HBO as Senior Vice President of New Business Development. Long interested in environmental and natural resource science, he has established the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program at University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Beahrs earned a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. degree from Adelphi University.

As of Jan 1, 2007, the advisory work formerly carried out by the Millennium Project secretariat team is being continued by an MDG Support team integrated under the United Nations Development Program.
